It’s not a vacation, it’s a trip, when you’re traveling with two toddlers! Despite the obvious stressors that come with traveling with kids (bonus points for mine getting sick) I still am so glad we take our kids along on our adventures!
Since the purpose of this trip was mainly to see family, I don’t really have an exciting itinerary or insider’s guide to Baltimore and DC to share with you but I did want to share all my pics! Don’t want to flood the gram with all these but it’s my blog so I’ll do what I want 😉
Our first adventure in Maryland, was a day in Baltimore where we went on a tour of Camden Yards and took a visit to the Maryland Science Museum. Next time we visit, I plan to take the kids into Fells Point and Canton where their Daddy and I lived.
The Inner Harbor it basically the Times Square of Bmore but we had a good time!
I also hit up J.Crew of course!
The next day was spent traveling down to DC. If you follow me on Insta, you heard me bemoan the traffic in MD/VA enough, suffice it to say if we could have walked into DC, I’d a done it.
Once we finally arrived though, we had an absolute blast going to as many Smithsonian’s as we could, people watching, hitting up food trucks and just exploring this wonderful city. You don’t have to like the president, to love the city 😏
Have you ever been to Baltimore or DC? I have to say, DC is my favorite American city–even more than NYC! Maybe it’s the Mom talking, but damn if I don’t love their wide sidewalks and easy to use public transportation!
