If you’ve been following along with my little family for a while, you know I’m a big fan of Judy and my matching–and thankfully she is too! You’ve probably also noticed that I like to dress Louis and Judy in classic clothing with a quirky edge that shows off their personalities–I don’t want them to look like carbon copies of me or Prince George and Princess Charlotte (although doppelgangers, am I right?!)–and I tend to gravitate towards items that aren’t going to cost me a fortune. I am a firm believer in “you get what you pay for” but in regards to kids clothing, I’m not expecting it to last past a season (kids grow so fast!!) so I go with cheap & cheerful for the kiddos.
All that being said–each kid has a few special items that we splurged on and I like to think that they’ll hold onto them. I for one have a gold nameplate bracelet from my grandparents that I still have, along with a charm bracelet from my parents that marks all of our travels, and I cherish these pieces so much!
When the kind folks at Add-a-Pearl contacted me about sending Judy her first pearl necklace, I knew this would be the PERFECT opportunity to start with a special piece of jewelry that would carry her through all the milestones of her life.
I was familiar with the brand and the concept, but was absolutely floored when the beautiful necklace arrived! From the lovely presentation to the near foolproof directions (hello pre-printed shipping label!) to add to your necklace–you can tell that the long-established company knows what they’re doing and spares no attention to detail.
I haven’t gotten Judy to take the necklace off since we received it and thankfully, I trust the quality enough to let her!
If you’re looking to surprise your daughter (or heck, yourself!) with a timeless piece of jewelry, I cannot recommenced Add-a-Pearl enough and I cannot wait to add to Judy’s necklace on her birthday, her kindergarten graduation, her first recital, and so many more special moments in the years to come.
Thank you to Add-a-Pearl for sponsoring this post and thank YOU for supporting the brands that help this blog happen!
