This was one of those good weekends! We had been both feeling stressed out lately–so we decided to treat this weekend like a staycation and just do and go and be–and it worked! I feel as great as one can on a Monday lol.
It is still hot as heck down here so I’m having to get creative with my fall wardrobe and this neckerchief I scored for like $3 is perfect! It’s really soft, almost silly, and I love the longer length.
So fall technically may have not started yet, but here in North Alabama it sure feels like it! It has been chilly in the mornings and evenings and this girl has been loving it!
With that being said, the dip in temperatures has me chomping at the bit to get my home, kids and self dressed up for the season! To get us ready, I am making a wish list of all the things I am planning to pick up at Parkway Place during my visit and takeover on September 15! I am so excited to spend a day shopping and hope you’ll join so make sure you follow along on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

I really wish three day weekends were a monthly thing–something about having that extra day off is just good for the soul!
So many good things at Target right now! Between the always amazing selection from Who What Wear and the debut of the in house brand, A New Day–Target just cannot be beat!
Have you gotten a chance to check out these new items? Just click on the above images to check them out at Target online–I do hope you get this stuff at your store though–it is even better in person! Let me know what you think of the new items! What’s on your wishlist?
You know how everyone says, leopard is a neutral? I feel like camo is the new leopard. Which makes it the new neutral! I love how it looks with white as I show it two different ways here and I can think of so many ways I plan to wear it this fall. But until that glorious season arrives, I think the perfect way to make camo summer-friendly is to pair it with white.
This was one of the shortest weekends EVER. Joe’s contract allows him to have an alternate work schedule, meaning he gets to take every other Friday off but sadly it was not this week. Then I worked on Saturday, which basically made our weekend feel like it was one day. Gah! Oh well, we just crammed as much family time in as we could.
